Highly unstable!

Nice app, but... too much crashes(ipod memory related?), problems reading some JPGs and big PDFs...connection with Cyberduck unstable, filezilla works much better with OSX 10.5...so...we need some fixes... Thanks

Basically... It doesnt work.

Doesnt work. Bad notice. My iPad tried to connect to my iPhone 4 (both with latest OS vesion), witout success (yes, it was "on"). After 5 try, in the bin. Its right place. And few bucks lost. Great.

One of my Best app

But does not work after this update; change to 5 stars after coming back to its normal state, strong and steady; probably very soon developers are normally very reactive

Version 1.0.1 needs work

It does "turn" horizontaly, but there is a horizontal gray line across the middle of the iTouch screen ! Cant get rid of it. It blocks reading !

Version 1.6.3 stoped working!!!

After the 1.6.3 update the app doesnt start... it crashes at every lauch :( Im with fw 3.1.3, on an iPod Touch 1 Gen.

hm...

i think this is quite a good idea but there should be a lock function to prevent specific files from being read by those who should not do so. So update please!

no search function

Im testing MObileFinder, FileMagnet and AirSharing. Theyre all give and take, but none of them could so far come up with a search function. This is a paramount feature which I need for long documents! I dont understand why it shouldnt be possible, i.e. VerseWiseBible has it, so Im sure its available in the OS. Besides, I find the connection via FTP quite complicated. Why not implement BonJour, its available and sooo easy???

misleading

No user guide. Easy to setup with cyberduck. I bought it because i thought i could edit my docs. I guess by edit they mean you can delete them or edit ones you create. You cant edit existing ones. Thats why i purchased this program.

Great App

Its an awesome app. Three things would be great to be added for next updates. 1. WebDav with authentication. 2. Able to rotate landscape mode. 3. Hide navigation controls when viewing files ex. images, documents. (tap to get back the nav like Files)

Unstable -- Possibly Crashed my iPhone

I was having no problems with my iPhone prior to purchasing and loading this app, however after opening a couple of documents, the began presenting "Low Memory" errors, after which the "Home" folder was the root of the iPhones file system, displaying numerous files that should not normally be accessible to the end user, including folders such as /var/root and all of the internal preferences and other database folders. After a few more of these "Low Memory" errors, the iPhone rebooted itself, and did not successfully come back. A full restore via DFU mode was required to return the iPhone to normal operation.

Could have been good.

I have experienced the same memory issues and an update has not been released. A shame that all the work of making an app that is so promising only to leave it unusable for people?!

Why no drag and drop?

Why no drag and drop like pocket PCs?? Are programmers limited in achieving this kind if functionality? The first programmer to pull off this simple thing is going to have something really popular on their hands. By the way, I had no problem editing text files. Dont know what last reviewer is talking about.

Nifty app

Very handy app that supports a good variety of files. You cant go wrong with the price either.

Almost there

A good app with potential for a great app. The image viewer could use some work, like being able to swipe to to the left & right for next and previous images. Could be a little faster with folders with a reasonably large quantity of images.

It works but...

Sometimes it makes my iPhone 3G crash and hang. It locks me out until I re-sync with computer. Def. needs some stability updates. No other app has done this to my iPhone. *Note this was when loading the files to view. Loading ppt was the worst.

Good for text, thats about it.

Very good as a file manager, and text viewer. However, lacks even the most rudimentary multimedia features. Does not create thumbnails. The picture viewer does not contain basic options such as swiping to the next picture, pinch zoom (you have to use a slider), etc. Needs much more work.

Not Worth It

Bought this app in hopes to be able to bring some small Excel files and pdf documents with me. I am able to get a connection and create folders but it will not allow me to add anything to the folders nor will it sync. Each time I do try to add something to a folder the app says the port is blocked.

Dont upgrade to 1.6

Love this app, rock solid until 1.6 came out! Cant edit anymore app keeps crashing... Emailed support and they are aware if the issue and working on a fix... Beside 1.6 issue ... Great app!

Was Looking For This

Best app yet to turn my iPodTouch into a mini portable computer (replacing some of the basic features that really should be part of the OS). File editing works for me, so does image viewing. My only complaint is that you cant use the standard server connection to read and write the files (have to use a third party program). I bet this was another limitation imposed by Apple. Ah well, a lot better than nothing.

Latest update crashes on OS 3.1.3!!

Last night applied the latest update for the app on my 3g which is running OS 3.1.3, and now the app no longer works. It crashes on startup. Please fix. I dont want to go to OS4 as it renders the 3g phones useless.
